Here are answers to frequently asked questions in connection with Fjellandsbyen and the hotel:

Check-out is at 11.00

Wifi is free. You will find information about internet and logging in in your apartment.

Pool:
The ground floor at Highland Hotell
Open: 07.00-22.00 every day.

Sauna:
Located in the ground floor at Highland hotel in the pool area. The sauna is turned on every day 07.00-11.00.

To use the sauna at other times, turn it on on the screen in the hallway by the entrance to the changing rooms. It takes around 45 minutes for the sauna to heat up.

Playroom:
The ground floor at Highland Hotell
Open: 07.00-22.00 every day.

Training room:
The ground floor at Highland Hotell
Open: 07.00-22.00 every day.

Ski storage:
In the garage in building 1.
Storage at your own risk.

PS: always check our website for any changes in opening hours.

If you do not rent an apartment with access to the parking garage, you can park for free next to buildings 2 and 3.

Vehicle charging:
You will find 4 car chargers behind the hotel building. Some of the parking spaces in the garage also have access to chargers.

In case of smoke from cooking, open the window/door to the terrace or balcony to ventilate the room and avoid a fire alarm.

You will find an escape route on the door of your apartment.

In the event of a fire alarm, you will find the meeting point in front of buildings 2 and 3.

In the event of a false alarm:

Switch off the fire alarm by pressing the white button next to the lift on each floor.

  • If you experience a false alarm on a smoke alarm in an apartment; press this button once within 3 minutes after the alarm is triggered to stop the alarm.
  • If the alarm still does not stop, a full alarm will sound in all apartments in this building after 3 minutes.
  • Go out to the meeting point  in front of buildings 2 and 3.
  • Wait for an employee to come to check.

You may store your luggage in our luggage room. This is located on the lower floor of the hotel. The room is located right next to the elevator. Guests can get a key to the room from the bakery.

Smoking is not allowed.

Parties/events are not allowed in rooms and apartments.

It should be quiet between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Breakfast is not included in the stay, but you can buy freshly baked bread, hot coffee and baked goods in our bakery from 07.00 every day.

PS: Remember to check the opening hours in case of changes.

You will find 3 different waste containers in the car park next to the hotel. There are separate containers for glass, paper and mixed waste.

All our apartments are self-catering apartments and you have final cleaning included in the price.

If you need new towels, you can pick them up in our bakery.

If the hob stops working in the kitchen, you will find a small device connected to the kitchen fan (this is the safety device that stops the hob when the temperature gets too high.) Press the little button on it to restart it.

If the dishwasher does not start and starts beeping, you will find a small switch on the left side of the kitchen faucet. Turn this switch to the opposite position and try again.
