Here are answers to frequently asked questions regarding the Fjellandsbyen and the Hotel:
Wifi is free. You will find information about internet and login in your apartment.

Pool:
The lower floor of the Highland Hotel
Open: 7:00 AM-10:00 PM every day.
Sauna:
0th floor in the pool area at Highland Hotel. The sauna is open every day 07:00-11:00.
If you wish to use the sauna at other times, there is a screen in the corridor by the changing rooms where you can turn it on. It takes around 45 minutes to heat up the sauna.
Playroom:
The lower floor of the Highland Hotel
Open: 7:00 AM-10:00 PM every day.
Fitness room:

Open: 7:00 AM-10:00 PM every day.
Ski storage:
In the garage in building 1.

If you do not rent an apartment with access to the parking garage, you can park for free next to buildings 2 and 3.
Car charging:
There are 4 car chargers behind the hotel building. Some of the parking spaces in the garage also have access to chargers.

In the event of smoke from cooking, open the window/door to the terrace or balcony to ventilate the room and avoid setting off a fire alarm.
You will find an escape route on the door of your apartment.
In the event of a fire alarm, you will find the meeting point in front of buildings 2 and 3.
In case of false alarm:
Turn off the fire alarm by pressing the white button next to the elevator on each floor.
- If you experience a false alarm on the smoke detector in your apartment; press this button once within 3 minutes of the alarm being triggered to silence the alarm.
- If the alarm still does not stop, a full alarm will sound in all apartments in this building after 3 minutes.
- Go out to the meeting point in front of buildings 2 and 3
- Wait for an employee to come to check.
You can store your luggage in our luggage room. This is located on the lower floor of the hotel. The room is located right next to the elevator. Guests can get a key to the room from the bakery.
Smoking is not allowed.
Parties/events are not allowed in rooms and apartments.
It should be quiet between 23:00 and 07:00.
Breakfast is not included in your stay, but you can buy freshly baked bread, hot coffee and baked goods in our bakery from 7:00 AM every day.
PS: Remember to check the opening hours in case of changes.
There are 3 different garbage containers in the parking lot next to the hotel. There are separate containers for glass, paper and mixed waste.
All our apartments are self-catering apartments and you have final cleaning included in the price.
If you need new towels, you can pick them up at our bakery.
If the cooktop stops working in the kitchen, you will find a small device connected to the kitchen fan (this is the safety device that stops the cooktop when the temperature gets too high.) Press the small button on it to restart it.
If the dishwasher does not start and starts beeping, you will find a small switch on the left side of the kitchen faucet. Turn this switch to the opposite position and try again.
